Research
The Program has research lines that demonstrate the most eclectic spirit of the course: Applied Economic Models and Institutions, Public Policies and Sustainable Development. In the first line, topics involving applications of advanced statistical, mathematical and computational techniques to various economic situations are addressed, with emphasis on systems analysis, analysis of parametric and non-parametric economic series and efficiency analysis of regions, economic sectors and public policies. The second line of research, in turn, deals with themes related to institutions and economic development, institutions and public policies and the history and dynamics of Brazilian institutions.
