Requirements of the Program
The student must complete at least 28 (twenty-eight) credits, with a maximum period of 24 months for payment of credits.
The program’s curriculum includes compulsory and optional subjects.
Mandatory subjects of the Course are: ECO 650 – Mathematical Economics; ECO 671 – Macroeconomics I; and ECO 672 – Microeconomics I.
The student may also take courses in other Graduate Programs upon approval by the Coordinator, after a justified request by the Advisor.
In addition to the credits, to obtain a Master’s degree in Economics from the Federal University of Viçosa the student must meet the following requirements:
a) Approval in a foreign language proficiency examination (article 52 of the Stricto Sensu Graduate Regulations of the Federal University of Viçosa);
b) Research Project;
c) Dissertation Seminar;
d) Dissertation Defense.
